A song_A memory

A song reminds me about an old friend of mine when I was a little girl. I live in Ho Chi Minh city, the biggest city of Vietnam, but my homeland is Bac Ninh, a rural land. 9 years ago, I came there for the first time, and I felt everything so strange from the architecture to the way of life. But I liked that differences: the smell of the rice-field, smoke from the cooking fire made my eyes burn, the large gardens with so many kinds of fruit, the narrow sinuous roads...and in that occasion, I knew her, a girl has a long hair and warm eyes.
Every morning, she came to my grandmom's house to wake me up and leaded me the market. That was a small market but sold everything. She always laughed at me because there were many things I didn't know but I knew she just joked...
And 3 months of my summer holiday were over, I had to come back to the city.
I still remember that day, a gloomy day, fog wrapped everywhere, I was preparing to go to the train bus, just in more 5 minutes, I would go...But she didn't come...
Now, everything changes, my rural homeland becomes a city, no rice-field...The images of the past are gone, and she're gone too, but her images can't fade from my memory.
Until now, I still don't know what happened to her that day...
Somewhere, the words of the song "When you're gone" resounds..." when you're gone, the pieces of my heart are missing you..."

Villages – Guilds
The Vietnamese culture has always evolved on the basis of the wet rice civilization. Thus, the lifestyle of the Vietnamese population is closely related to its village and native lands.
In Vietnamese society, people gather together to form villages in rural areas, and guilds in urban areas. Villages and guilds have been forming since the dawn of the nation. These organizations have gradually developed for the population to be more stable and closer together. Each village and guild has its own regulations called conventions.

The purpose of these conventions is the promotion of good customs within populations. All the conventions are different but they are always in accordance with the state laws.

Approximately ten thousands such conventions are kept in the History Museum in Hanoi and in other museums throughout the country.

Ha Long bay_Vietnam

Ha Long Bay, in the Gulf of Tonkin, includes some 1,600 islands and islets, forming a spectacular seascape of limestone pillars. Because of their precipitous nature, most of the islands are uninhabited and unaffected by a human presence. The site's outstanding scenic beauty is complemented by its greSituated in the North-East region of Vietnam, Halong Bay is a bay in the Gulf of Tonkin comprised of regions of Halong City, the township of Cam Pha, and a part of the island district of Van Don. Halong Bay borders Cat Ba Island in the southwest, the East Sea in the east, and the mainland, creating a 120 km coastline.
Halong Bay is made up of 1,969 islands of various sizes, 989 of which have been given names. There are two kinds of islands, limestone and schist, which are concentrated in two main zones: the southeast (belonging to Bai Tu Long Bay), and the southwest (belonging to Halong Bay). This densely concentrated zone of stone islands, world famous for its spectacular scenery of grottoes and caves, forms the central zone of Halong Bay, which has been named a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The bay itself has an area of 43,400 ha, consists of 775 islands, and forms a triangle with the island of Dau Go (Driftwood Grotto) to the west, the lake of Ba Ham (Three Shelter Lake) to the south, and the island of Cong Tay to the east.
Viewed from above, Halong Bay resembles a geographic work of art. While exploring the bay, you feel lost in a legendary world of stone islands. There is Man's Head Island, which resembles a man standing and looking towards the mainland. Dragon Island looks like a dragon hovering above the turquoise water. La Vong Island resembles an old man fishing. There are also the islands of the Sail, the Pair of Roosters, and the Incense Burner, which all astonishingly resemble their namesakes. The forms of the islands change depending on the angle of the light and from where the islands are viewed. At the core of the islands, there are wonderful caves and grottoes, such as Thien Cung (Heavenly Residence Grotto), Dau Go (Driftwood Grotto), Sung Sot (Surprise Grotto), and Tam Cung (Three Palace Grotto).
Halong Bay has many links to the history of Vietnam. For example, there are such famous geographical sites as Van Don (site of an ancient commercial port), Poem Mountain (with engravings of many poems about emperors and other famous historical figures), and Bach Dang River (the location of two fierce naval battles fought against foreign aggressors).
It has been proven by scientists that Halong was one of the first cradles of human existence in the area at such archeological sites as Dong Mang, Xich Tho, Soi Nhu, and Thoi Gieng. It is also a region of highly-concentrated biological diversity with many ecosystems of salt water-flooded forests, coral reefs, and tropical forests featuring thousands of species of animal and plant life.
With all this in mind, the 18th meeting of the Committee of the World Heritages of UNESCO (in Thailand on December 17th, 1994), officially recognized Halong Bay as a natural heritage site of worldwide importance.at biological interest.

The wind has changed...

Maybe Germany is a popular name with us. This is a good team which has a sure-fire defensive hardly to go through. People call Germany football team "Germany tank". But all of that is not enough to make a perfect Germany, their attacks are usually effect but not really beautiful and creative. That's the reason why they couldn't get the best result in France'98 and Korea/Japan 2002.
But they really make their fans deeply impressive on the open day of World cup'06. The Germany wind has changed when they performed a spectacular way of playing instead of being pragmatic, dry. I have to said that for a long time since the age of the king Beckenbauer or the age of Jugen Klismann, I have seen a good Germany like this. Thanks Klismann for his revolution.

There's something in my eyes...

I'm a strong and warm girl. I like to adventure. Fergie has a song named " Big girls don't cry", it's very cool and I like it a lot. Maybe many people think that I never cry but they're really wrong. People have their own way to make clear their feelings. The fragile people always cry, be hopeless, and it's so hard for them to get back the happiness. The strong people rarely cry but it doesn't mean that they don't feel wretched. Nomarly, they're sad, they rush into doing something which can make them feel better. They have a far look into the future and the time can get their spirit back. But with some strong people (not me), it's just strong outwardly. In font of everybody, they prove to be normal. In fact, they cry in their room or in a dark corner... alone. They don't want anybody to see them in a disastrous aspect. Maybe with some people, there's no tear, but I surely know, no tear but there's something in their eyes...
